Çatalağzı Thermic Power Station work, tender of which was effected on date 06.06.2002 has been commenced on date 24.06.2002. Within the extent of the Project; dam body construction (body-type clay cored rock fill), Access tunnel (in the case of tunnel type, it is horse shoe concrete coating), Emergency Water Discharge Channel, 1st Stage Raising Lines (Basalt Conduit). II nd Stage Raising lines (Basalt Conduit) (Lenghts of Conduit; 1080 +5697 = 6777 meters). Valve rooms pumping building, reflux line, pipelines, steel construction bridge and struts, operation, materail haulage and service roads are being made. 60% of the project has been completed.
